to some people this might not seem like a big deal. well it is. most of her life she’s felt like an outsider.. rejected. hugs probably only came from her fathers, physhical contact.. from slushies. “im gonna hug you now” sounds cute and adorable.. but it also gives that other person an out. she’s been called creepy.. from finn actually.. that he used to check under his bed to see if she was there.
and then there’s quinn.. she didn’t declare it.. she didn’t ask her.. she didn’t think.. there was no hesitation whatsoever. all rachel wanted to do was show quinn how proud she was of her.
all season i’ve been asking for a hug.. just a hug. but this.. this is icing on the cake. no, this is like i asked for a cupcake and i got the whole damn bakery!
